Creating Custom AIs for Teaching in the Health Sciences

Join prof. Ben Stern sharing his experience using ChatGPT and other AIs with students in his Primary Care course in the Dept of Physical Therapy. Ben will share his exploration of these tools’ potential as educational aids when balanced with human oversight, including clinical judgment and ethical considerations in patient care. He’ll also talk about OpenAI’s new “GPT Store”, and how he has created and used custom GPTs for his class for interactive games, simulated patient interviews, and generating multiple-choice questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy, learning objectives, and course content.
