Custom AI App Community of Practice
Do you want to integrate AI into your teaching? Tufts Educational Technology Services (ETS) is offering a second round of its Community of Practice focused on the thoughtful use of custom AI apps. These tools, often called “Agents” or “CustomGPTs” are simply AI chatbots tailored to your instructional goals. This groundbreaking initiative offers the opportunity to collaborate with peers and educational technologists to develop innovative AI-powered teaching activities and critically assess the impact of AI on your students learning.
Participating faculty will:
- Submit a proposal to be part of the community
- Create a custom AI app
- Integrate that app into a student-facing activity, assessment, or resource
- Receive individualized and group support from ETS
- Collaborate on best practices, policies, and transparent syllabus language
Your commitment includes building a custom AI app, attending interactive workshops, testing other faculty members’ AI apps, and sharing insights with the community. No coding or AI experience is required.
