My policy idea:
My policy idea deals with the promotion of mobile financial services, in order to increase financial inclusion in my country.
Why I came to the Leadership Program:
I was looking for different views on financial inclusion, how people from academia and from other institutions, governments, and countries view financial inclusion.
What I have learned that has been very helpful:
How to design a policy, how to monitor and evaluate the impact of policy, how not to make assumptions. The focus on building technical skills.
How this program will help me develop better regulation and policy in my country:
I can directly apply what I’ve learned to my current work.
