Ms. Zaira Badillo joined the financial inclusion team having worked in the International Affairs Unit for ten years. As part of the Financial Access Unit, Zaira has been developing research and measures on access to financial services in Mexico, obtaining information on financial access and usage, and supporting policy decisions in financial matters through quantitative information. She co-developed a tool to measure the status of financial inclusion in Mexico for the National Survey for Financial Inclusion 2012. Zaira’s ongoing mission is to coordinate the analysis of the survey results to generate indicators of access and use of financial services. She is currently participating in developing the National Policy for Financial Inclusion that will be issued this year. Ms. Zaira Badillo earned her degree as a Public Accountant in the year 2000 through La Salle University.
