Nomcebo Hadebe completed her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Durban Westville in 2003. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Philosophy with the University of Stellenbosch business school specializing in Development Finance. Having joined the Ministry of Finance Swaziland in 2007, she has climbed the ladder to now being a Principal Finance Officer in the Fiscal and Monetary Affairs Section of the Ministry of Finance Swaziland. Her main responsibility is to head financial policy development under the stewardship of the Director of Fiscal and Monetary Affairs. Ms Hadebe is keen on developing policies that will impact the livelihoods of the underserved in Swaziland. She is in the process of piloting the Consumer Credit Bill which is aimed at regulating all aspects of credit with the view of bringing those that were previously unserved in the credit market to the formal credit market. She and her team are finalizing the MicroFinance policy and the Financial Inclusion Strategy for Swaziland which are all in line with the Government of Swaziland’s national vison of 2022 to attain first world status. She is a team player and loves laughing.
