Martha Hailemariam

Ms. Hailemariam has worked in the Central Bank (National Bank of Ethiopia) at different directorates including: Foreign Exchange Monitoring and Reserve Management Directorate; Information System Management directorate; and currently she is a Director in the Payment and Settlement System at the National Bank of Ethiopia. Her education background is a degree in Economics and an Executive MBA (EMBA) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. She has obtained different certificates related to IT and Digital Financial Services. As she is working in the Payment and Settlement System Directorate at the Central Bank (National of Ethiopia), she is interested in regulatory and risk policy issues in the Digital Payment Service Ecosystems.
