Team Leader and Acting Project Coordinator, IT Infrastructure and Digital Finance for Microfinance Institutions, Association of Microfinances Institutions in Rwanda
Aime Munyanganzo served financial industry for 17 years combining 12 in Commercial Banking and Microfinance, plus 5 as Consultant for Financial Inclusion and SACCOS Automation services. He is now consultant for Microfinance Digitization and busy coordinating the Deployment of IT shared infrastructures for 10 SACCOs, with aim to accelerate financial Inclusion in Rwanda where he serves also as Member of the National Payment Committee (NPC) for the Central Bank of Rwanda (BNR). As formerly Education Finance Manager he participated in the launching of the first Education Finance Department at Opportunity International (2013-2014), where he contributed in the design and deployment of adapted financial products for parents in need and Education entrepreneurs who strive to offer quality education to poor families. He later on took the lead of the new E-Banking department as E-Banking Manager where he contributed in the development of solid network of Mobile Money Agents network and ATMs (2014-2017). He is Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (South Africa), and member of the Rwandan Digital Finance Network. He was selected to be part of the American Based on the Frontier (OTF) GROUP (2009) to be part of the Academy for Competitiveness and Prosperity (ALCP). He holds a bachelor’s degree in IT applications in Management from the University of Rwanda (UR-2009) and currently finalizing his MBA specialization in Technological Innovations from AZTECHA UNIVERSITY, relevant professional certificates include Project Management, Finance, Leadership, Digital Agriculture and Coaching.
