Tilda completed the FLPFI Program in the 2022 cohort. She is a Finance and Investment Practioner and a Financial Literacy Master Trainer in Uganda and the EAC Region. Tilda is a seasoned Central Banker with over 14 years’ experience. She enjoys simplifying financial matters so as to be well understood and confidently applied by the people so that they can magnify their lives, thus resonating with the Strategy for Financial Literacy in Uganda tagline; “Simplify Money, Magnify Life.” This in turn seeks for socio – economic transformation.
She was part of team that implemented the Strategy for Financial Literacy in Uganda 2013 – 2017 and coordinated the development of the Strategy, 2019 – 2024. Coordinated the development of the EAC Financial Education Strategy in 2018. She works with and designs multi sectoral financial literacy programs and initiatives.
Tilda is a Financial Literacy Social Entrepreneur and the Board Chairperson of Be Money Wiser Uganda Limited. She innovates various simplified ways of disseminating financial information aimed at transforming lives. She is passionate about Financial Literacy, Saving Literacy, Financial Health, Financial Inclusion, Financial Behavioural Change and Social – economic Development.
She has a degree in Business Administration and Management from Uganda Martyrs University; a Masters in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship for Impact from Uganda Martyrs University in affiliation with Universita Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore. She also has a Masters in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham.
