Muhidin Shifa has an MSC degree in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University. Muhidin has worked for more than 15 years at the National Bank of Ethiopia in different capacities. Given his experience in regulation and supervision of inclusive insurance and knowledge on microfinance sector in Ethiopia , he was promoted to Principal Financial Inclusion, Consumer Protection and Financial Education Officer to lead implementation of financial inclusion, consumer protection and financial literacy efforts of the country and is still working in this capacity since February 2018.He had published a series of papers on microfinance and micro insurance on the National Bank of Ethiopia’s magazines and other domestic magazines .
