Paper on phytoplankton aggregation in shear published in J. Royal Society Interface!
Along with colleagues from MIT and ETH Zurich, Prof. Guasto recently published a research on the “Shear-induced orientational dynamics and spatial heterogeneity in suspensions of motile phytoplankton” in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface [pdf].

Amin Dehkharghani joins the group!
Amin Dehkharghani joined the Guasto lab in September 2015 to start his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Amin comes to us from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, where he majored in Mechanical Engineering.
