Introduction & Motivation

Chemical engineering is at the heart of materials science. To be good chemical engineers, we must understand how the smallest units in our system play a role.

This is intended as an introductory presentation about atoms, molecules, and polymers to lead into the Human Polymers activity. Once students learn to talk about these concepts and see some visualizations, they can better understand the results of future activities.
