Museum Preparator [Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT]

The Middlebury College Museum of Art seeks a Preparator to work collaboratively within our collections management/exhibits team. Preparator will maintain art storage areas, assist in exhibition preparation and installation, maintain organized shop and fabrication areas, and assist Registrar with shipping and receiving art. Successful applicant will be responsible, organized, detail oriented, with excellent fabrication skills, tool dexterity, and the ability to work both as a team member and independently. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Studio art or art history background helpful.
