The Wenham Museum seeks an energetic and creative intern to serve as the Education SUMMER ASSISTANT. In collaboration with the Museum’s Education Director, the intern will: help with field trip groups, supervise a maker space, develop weekly games and craft programming, work with our youth volunteers preparing materials for programs and hands-on components for exhibits and help plan and execute large public events. Time commitment: flexible, up to 20 hours per week. Internship dates (negotiable) May 15-August 15th. The Rebecca Nurse Homestead, a 17th century farmstead, is seeking docents to guide visitors on tours through the museum. The main focus is on early colonial history as well as the Witchcraft Hysteria of 1692. Rebecca Nurse was one of those falsely accused and executed.      This a beautiful spot to spend a day with over 25 acres. We pride ourselves on sharing our passion for history with our guests. Qualifications:
Passion for history, some knowledge of early colonial history preferred but we are willing to train.  A desire to work with the public.  This would be the perfect fit for a retired teacher, high school or college students with an interest in studying history.
