Description:
Worcester Historical Museum (WHM) is seeking a part-time Development Associate (20-25 hours a week).

Responsibilities include: Annual Fund, membership expansion, donor correspondence, database management, and associated programs. Associate will assist with capital campaign and special programs; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:

· College degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of development or related experience

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proven experience developing new programs to broaden donor base and enhance institutional outreach;

· Flexibility to work some nights and weekends

Membership/Events Coordinator

Description:
This is a full time exempt position requiring flexible hours to accommodate occasional evening and weekend events. The Membership/Events Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director.

The position provides support for the membership, cultivation and fundraising functions of NBAM/ArtWorks! Directly oversees all membership operations and works in coordination with the Development Manager. Shares in managing and coordinating planning of all fundraising and cultivation events. Additional administrative duties include supervising payroll and vendor services and oversight of Museum Shop. Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
MA in art or arts administration related field preferred. BA required. 5 years experience in museums, membership and or development in non profit and/or arts setting. Skilled in standard computer programs required; experience in Exceed and Quickbooks preferred.
