COVID Relief Grant from LEGO Foundation
There’s no question that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound global impact on the world of education. As we navigate COVID recovery efforts we have a unique opportunity to transform the learning experience for children around the world and ensure all children have the opportunity to thrive. Learning through play is particularly important for children in humanitarian and crisis settings, who now face a double emergency with COVID-19. Play can help reduce stress and anxiety levels associated with adversity and build resilience. That is why we at Tufts CEEO are proud to announce that we have entered into a new partnership with the LEGO Foundation to provide immediate aid to schools, teachers, and students around the world.
“As we navigate our way through COVID-19 recovery, we are at a pivotal moment to transform education systems worldwide and ensure learning access to children. By working closely with partners like Tufts University we can help support children and families affected by the pandemic, on a global scale. At the LEGO Foundation, we believe that by collaborating, we can create a future that promotes inclusive education for all children, everywhere. But we need to act now.”
