COVID Relief Grant from LEGO Foundation
There’s no question that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound global impact on the world of education. As we navigate COVID recovery efforts we have a unique opportunity to transform the learning experience for children around the world and ensure all children have the opportunity to thrive. Learning through play is particularly important for children in humanitarian and crisis settings, who now face a double emergency with COVID-19. Play can help reduce stress and anxiety levels associated with adversity and build resilience. That is why we at Tufts CEEO are proud to announce that we have entered into a new partnership with the LEGO Foundation to provide immediate aid to schools, teachers, and students around the world.
We’re very excited to begin work with our amazing partners both domestically and internationally. Tufts CEEO will be collaborating with:
Karkhana and Teach for Nepal, Nepal
Project SYNCERE, Chicago
Ke’yah Advanced Rural Manufacturing Alliance, Navajo Nation
Maryville University Head Start Program and Tufts University DevTech Research Group
MakerSpace Consortium, Rwanda
WMSI, New Hampshire
