This semester’s Zero-Waste Challenge Week is October 17-24! Tufts Eco Reps will be heading an effort to reduce their individual waste and to spread awareness about one’s environmental impact due to personal trash.
For an entire week, every non-recyclable, non-compostable piece of rubbish must go into a plastic bag that will be carried around at all times. The goal is to increase awareness of how much waste one actually creates and to have as little as possible in the bag by the end of the week. What would you do to avoid generating trash if you have to carry it around for a week? Find out by participating in the Challenge, as it’s not an Eco-Rep only event. Get ready for this semester’s Zero-Waste Challenge Week and maybe even make it a limited-waste competition among your friends!
