New Economics Campus Network Information Session

The New Economics Campus Network is a new student group starting this spring. The purpose is twofold. First, students will have the opportunity to learn about new economic concepts like worker cooperatives, local currency, sharing economy, etc. Second, our group will plan an end of semester summit focusing on building a local food economy here in Boston. There will be four subcommittees to 1) plan the local food we will eat at the summit 2) find the local speakers for the event 3) logistics including making the event zero waste and 4) advertising for the event. We are hoping to gather a group of 15 committed students from Tufts to help put the event on.
