Young staff from the Appalachian Mountain Club are leading a series of FREE walks, bike rides, and paddling trips in Boston for college students and young professionals, and we want YOU to join us! The adventures will start this Tuesday, April 23 at 5:30 PM and run for the next five weeks. This program is organized by the Appalachian Mountain Club staff and made possible by an Outdoor Nation grant.
April 23, 2013 – Arnold Arboretum
Meet us at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain for an evening stroll through the end of the Emerald Necklace. We’ll meet in front of the Visitor Center, wander the Arboretum hunting for Spring buds and then meander down to Jamaica Pond in search of happy critters. From there it’s a quick trip up the road for a well deserved scoop (or two) at the original J.P. Licks! See you there!
