The President’s Picnic

The picnic on the Medford/Somerville campus will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the President’s Lawn. The rain date is Thursday, May 22. All students and faculty are invited to a picnic hosted by the University President himself.

As part of Tufts’ ongoing commitment to campus sustainability, the picnic will once again be a zero-waste event, which means that everything used will be either recycled or composted. To minimize waste even further, we encourage those who can to BYOP – Bring Your Own (reusable) Place-setting (plate, cup/water bottle, fork). Stop by the Office of Sustainability’s table to get your picture taken with your reusable tableware and win a potted plant for your office (available for the first 10 groups of 5 of more)!
