Welcome to the USDA National Cellular Agriculture Student Club.
Within the USDA National Institute for Cellular Agriculture, the USDA National Cellular Agriculture Student Club (USDA Cellular AgriClub) serves as a coalition of six USDA-funded research institutions to promote the inclusion of students in a rapidly growing field of research. The universities involved include Tufts University, MIT, UMass Boston, UC Davis, Virginia Tech, and Virginia State University. Through accessible research initiatives and a social media presence, including a YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram account, this club aims to generate interest in cellular agriculture and cultured meat across educational institutions nationwide. Additionally, by promoting collaboration between these institutions, the USDA Cellular AgriClub plans to continue the development of well-rounded cellular agriculture educational and outreach opportunities for students. In an effort to connect students with leading innovators in the cellular agriculture field, the monthly CULTIVATE seminar series, hosted by one of the six USDA-funded institutions, provides students with the opportunity to directly interact with global cellular agriculture leaders.
