All cars parked regularly on campus are required to be registered with the Campus Police. There is little off-campus parking, so we encourage you to apply for a campus parking permit. Applicants must fill out a registration form and present a valid driver’s license, a current Tufts ID, and the vehicle’s state registration. Permits can be purchased directly through the Campus Police, 419 Boston Avenue at the lower level of the parking structure, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m, Monday-Friday. As of the printing of this manual, the reduced cost for a part-time faculty parking permit is $90. You will receive a decal sticker to place on your car window, allowing you to park in any faculty parking area. If you would like to have access to the parking garage, the Parking Office will issue a separate “proximity card” providing you access to the garage at no extra cost.
