Samuel Martin Kamunyu Njoroge is the Manager, Investor Education and Public Awareness, at the Capital Markets Authority, Kenya. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts in economics, First Class honors, and a Master of Arts in economics, from the University of Nairobi. He has also undertaken the Capital Markets Programme from the Charted Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), UK, and attended a number of capacity-building initiatives locally and overseas in research, policy analysis, project management, capital markets regulation, development, and Investor Education; these include an Executive Course in Pension Fund Investment and Management at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Njoroge has experience in the financial markets spanning over fifteen years. Previously he worked with the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) Kenya, as an Economist, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) as a Research Analyst, and at the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR), Kenya, as a Research Associate. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) Kenya, an Associate Member (ACSI) of Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), UK, a Member of the Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM), a Member of Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), Kenya, and a member of the Institute of Directors, Kenya (M.IoD(K).
