Olayinka Adeyemi Peter

Working with a team of experts assembled by the Central Bank to coordinate the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, Peter has dedicated over 5 years of his career to the course of reducing the proportion of Adult Nigerians who are financially excluded in Nigeria. He was a pioneer staff of the Financial Inclusion Secretariat from inception in 2014 where he served as the head of the data management office. Presently, Peter coordinates research efforts aimed at providing empirical evidence to support policy formulation to drive financial inclusion objectives in the country. Prior to his present position in the Apex Bank, Peter worked as the monitoring and reporting officer at UNICEF, Nigeria for over 6 years. He worked closely with Government Officials to implement a National Policy on Basic Education (with focus on the Girl child) in Nigeria.
