Naneh Hovanessian
Senior Economist- Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Armenia
Naneh Hovanessian is a senior economist at the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Armenia, oriented at public policy and impact evaluation. She is responsible for the evaluation of financial inclusion and financial literacy projects. Her current work related to financial inclusion includes:
- Evaluation of Financial Education Program: RCT in Armenia,
- Increasing Economic Outcomes through Financial Inclusion and Digitization in Emerging Economies: Evidence from Armenia.,
- Effects of Debt Relief: Evidence from Armenia.
She also works at UNICEF Armenia as a national consultant on Situation Analysis (SitAn) of Children and Adolescents. She has also worked at the ADBI as a consultant, and provided technical assistance within the Financial Inclusion, Regulation, Financial Literacy, and Financial Education Project. She has a Master of Science in Economics degree from American University of Armenia, and a MicroMaster degree in Data, Economics, and Development Policy (DEDP) from MIT.
