Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, National Coordination of Inclusive Finance, Ministry of Economy and Finance of Madagascar

I am currently a monitoring and evaluation officer, in charge of the monitoring and evaluation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) of Madagascar which involves: managing the financial inclusion database, reporting on the financial inclusion progress of the country and advising the Steering Committee of the NFIS.

I am part of the team that drafted and follows up on the National Financial Inclusion Strategy. This includes the design of an efficient monitoring and evaluation framework in close collaboration with the Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) of the United States Department of the Treasury.

My path in the financial sector started in 2008 at the National Coordination of Microfinance by setting up and managing the microfinance database in Madagascar. Later, after several capacity building and training on financial education, I participated in the elaboration of the first financial education tools and lead financial education campaigns. Through my 15 years of experience in the inclusive finance sector, I could help in strengthening weak microfinance institution, updating regulatory framework, monitoring financial inclusion projects and programs.
