Ms. Paula Franco has almost ten years of experience in the financial sector. She has a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a master’s degree in Economic Law from the same university. In addition, she holds an LLM from NYU. Ms. Franco is currently admitted to practice law in Colombia and NY.
Having worked at the Financial Superintendency of Colombia (SFC) since 2020, she is now a Senior Legal Advisor for the Capital Markets department. As a Senior Legal Advisor, her primary responsibility is to research and propose regulations and government policies to adopt international standards, best practices and innovative solutions for the Colombian financial sector and its capital markets.
