I currently work as a Gender Desk Officer at the Financial Inclusion Delivery Unit (FIDU), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). I spearhead the efforts to close the financial inclusion gender gap in Nigeria through implementation of the Framework for Advancing Women’s Financial Inclusion in Nigeria and leading the development of policies and interventions targeted at women’s financial inclusion.
I participated in the development of the revised National Financial Inclusion Strategy (3.0) and the National Strategy for Leveraging Agent Networks for Women’s Financial Inclusion.
Prior to this current role, I have worked at the Branch Operations Department of CBN, coordinating the activities of the CBN Branches nationwide.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Master’s Degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. I have successfully completed the Certified Expert in SME Finance Course (Frankfurt School of Finance and Management).
