For the last three years Maha has been working on designing and developing retail and micro payments systems with enabling regulatory frameworks that guarantees level playing field, financial consumer protection, financial literacy programs and financial inclusion. Her most important project was “Jordan Mobile Payment System- JoMoPay” targeting the unbanked and underserved. She joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Digital Financial Services (DFS) Platform Enablers group in support of financial inclusion for the poor upon their request.
