ICA Winter/Spring Development Internship
Interested in learning about museum work? Discover the important fundraising efforts and community relationships that support museums and cultural institutions! Development interns participate in a wide variety of the development department’s day-to-day activities. Duties can include drafting proposals to corporations, foundations and government-funding sources, writing reports and conducting research on prospective funding sources, organizing direct mailings, and helping to maintain the membership database. Interns also offer support to staff working events and previews. The Winter/Spring Internship begins in late January. Schedule is flexible.
Interns may apply for school credit for their internship.
We’re looking for someone who is interested in exploring museum work, gaining experience in an office setting and discovering the ways in which the ICA’s development department supports our mission. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and some exposure to or willingness to learn Raiser’s Edge software are helpful.
To apply, please submit a resume and short letter of interest to email@example.com
