Internship in museum & farm-based education on an historic farm The New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton, NH is seeking an intern to assist with our farm and history focused educational programs for children and adults. This intern will be responsible for leading farm and farmhouse tours, assisting with visitor services and in our country store, helping with youth programming and special events. This intern will spend about 20 percent of time assisting with our farm operation such as feeding farm animals and working in our gardens. The internship is full time five days per week starting in mid- May and ending at the end of October. Intern will receive a stipend of $175 per week and a private room in a shared historic farmhouse on the museum grounds. Applicants for this position should be college graduates. Applicants should be energetic, physically able, enjoy working outdoors and have demonstrated experience working with the public including children. Applicants should be willing to work in a team based, collaborative environment. Applicants should have strong interests in areas such as history, farms, sustainable/organic agriculture, museums, education and/or environmental education.
