Location: 50 Milk St., 15th Floor, Boston, MA
Time: 24-32 hours/week
Design Museum Boston is seeking an intern to assist in Membership activities and development efforts. This position requires strong organizational skills for assistance with database management, the ability to complete research for grants and proposal opportunities, and excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Intern will report to and assist the Development Associate in variety of duties such as prospect research and identification, membership fulfillment, database management and reporting, and fundraising.

Additional duties include assistance with member renewals and membership drives, fundraising events, donor relations, and evaluation reporting.

- Enrolled in degree program and applying to satisfy academic credit requirements
- Passion for design, education, and/or nonprofit arts administration
- Organized and detail oriented with good interpersonal & communication skills
- Familiarity of Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, spreadsheets, and email marketing tools
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Hard worker, able to contribute under uncertainty and learn while doing in a startup environment
