Each year, Historic New England presents the Program in New England Studies, an intensive learning experience with lectures by curators and architectural historians, workshops, and behind-the-scenes tours of Historic New England’s properties and collections, as well as of other museums and private homes in the region.
Do note they have several scholarships, including one specifically for candidates from diverse cultural backgrounds. A Dynamic Laboratory for Our Democracy, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is designed to bring the history of the United States Senate alive – using technology to engage and inspire like never before. The Institute features a representation of the United States Senate Chamber, interactive exhibits, and a reproduction of Senator Kennedy’s office. The Institute is located in Boston on Columbia Point, next to the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum.
