Congratulations to Trevor Nicks and Sean Sullivan for graduating from the lab with their PhDs! Trevor will work on his company, Caravel Bio and Sean will be moving to NC to work for Novozymes!

Caravel Bio wins Tufts 100K Challenge! (Apr 13)
Congratulations to grad student Trevor Nicks (+ co-founder Emily Wenberg) for winning the Tufts $100k New Ventures Competition held at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center! His company, Caravel Bio, based on his thesis work will advance biomanufacturing using bacterial spores! (link)

New manuscript online now! (Sept 21)
Aaron’s manuscript on the role of codon usage on cellular resources and fitness is online as a pre-print now on bioRxiv.

Sam Littman joins the lab! (Sept 16)
Sam (A’25) joins the lab. He will be working with Bec on PAL engineering.

Arushi leaves the lab (Sept 1)
Arushi Kalia leaves the lab to finish her BS in Chemical Engineering at UMass-Amherst. It was great having her in the lab over the summer!
