AFR: Loading User Patterns and Languages

Working with Abbyy Fine Reader: Loading User Patterns and Languages

For this project, you want to use a custom language to read the files. In order to do so, you must load the correct settings before beginning your Abbyy Fine Reader (AFR) session.

Note: These instructions point to a custom language (Latin_Renaissance) created for this project. For instructions on creating this type of user language in Abbyy, additional documentation is forthcoming.

Launch AFR and Open your document.

File > Open Fine Reader Document

Tools > Options
