Chief Audit Executive, Palestine Investment Fund
Abed is the Chief Audit Executive(”CAE”) at Palestine Investment Fund(“PIF”). He oversees the internal audit, risk management, governance and compliance functions at PIF. He is also PIF’s lead representative at the IFSWF.
Prior to joining PIF, Abed spent over 15 years with big four accounting firms in Canada and the Middle East, where he served in different functions and provided services to clients in various industries.
Abed holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Birzeit University and a Master of Accountancy from The George Washington University. He is a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (ACSI).
