Created and run almost entirely by Tufts students, Book Match is a TLC program that incentivizes students to read by making reading into a fun and friendly competition. Students are divided into teams and given a list of 25 books that each team must collectively read. Each team strategically plans which members will read which books, and then dig into the reading. Students meet with their Tufts guides every week to prepare them for the competition, where they answer questions such as, “In which book do three children smuggle a dragon out of school with the help of an invisibility cloak?” or ““Name the book and author that tells how a pair of silver shoes have the power to transport a heroine home.”
