Today we rolled out our latest improvements to the Catalog:
*author ids are now their CITE urns
*removed dates from alternate author names for clarity
*fields with lists of values (alternate names, alternate titles, etc.) don’t display in a block, each item gets a separate line, for clarity
*added table of contents field to edition and translation pages
*changed edition and translation pagination to capture lists of page ranges
*added and indexed author and title abbreviations (but you can’t search for “author title” just one or the other)
*indexed subjects for browsing (Library of Congress subject headings if they are in the record)
*added searching by editor or translator
*added quick-find links to editions and translations at the top of works pages
*clarified text link-outs on edition and translation pages
*added word counts per author (when available) to the authors list
