Transportation Coordinator at Champlain College (Burlington, VT)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Sustainability, the Transportation Coordinator will implement the campus Transportation Plan which includes managing the parking system, coordinating the on-campus shuttle system, managing transportation budget, identifying and responding to transportation-related issues, conceptualizing strategy to produce and deliver marketing and outreach for internal and external audiences, facilitating the Champlain College Transportation Committee, overseeing city and state annual regulatory reporting requirements, serving as the primary contact person for outside agencies, participating in local, regional, and national transportation planning and development efforts.

Sustainability Coach for Sustainability Academy at Lawrence Barnes School (Burlington, VT)

The Sustainability Academy is currently seeking a Sustainability Coach to help lead the students, faculty, staff, and community as we continue our evolution as the nation’s first public elementary school dedicated to Education for Sustainability. The SA Coach is a hands-on leader who is equal parts visionary, spokesperson, tactician, liaison, and catalyst whose main responsibility is to keep EfS at the core of the Sustainability Academy. Their duties include being a building leader with the Principal around professional development, curriculum and instruction; documenting the school’s progress around integrating EfS into all that it does; securing and maintaining partnerships and promoting collaboration with and among staff, families, partners and other outside organizations.

Executive Director, Local Motion (VT)

We are continuing our search for an Executive Director. We seek an experienced leader and manager, passionate about bicycle/pedestrian advocacy, for our 12 year-round and many seasonal employees, 12-member Board, 1,200 area members and 300 annual volunteers. Our member-supported organization is flourishing as we expand popular initiatives such as Bicycle Recycle Vermont, complete streets & trails advocacy, Bike Ferry service, youth safety education, Trailside Center, the Safe Streets Collaborative and a myriad of outreach activities.
