Bard College’s Center for Environmental Policy (CEP) and the Bard MBA in Sustainability seek applicants for a full-time position as Graduate Admissions Assistant. Responsibilities include representing Bard’s graduate programs in sustainability at graduate school fairs, career fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events, organizing and conducting open houses and information sessions (on-site and online), establishing inquiry and applicant communication plans, and maintaining contact with applicants to assist with the admissions process. We anticipate 8-10 weeks of travel in the fall and 4-6 weeks in the spring representing both the CEP and MBA programs. Working some weekends and evenings is required.
Bard College’s Center for Environmental Policy seeks applicants for a full time position as Workshop Facilitator for the C2C Fellows Project, which provides weekend training opportunities for undergraduates and recent graduates who aspire to sustainability leadership in business and politics. The Workshop Facilitator, working with the Project Director and Bard CEP graduate students, will organize, recruit for, and help lead C2C Fellows workshops around the country. Additional duties include oversight of the project webpage, management of communications and social media, and support for fund-raising.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree with experience in event organizing, preferably in green business or politics. Excellent public speaking skills and experience facilitating group discussions are particularly desired. The position is for one year and may be renewable, depending on funding.
