The Sustainability Coordinator serves as a key facilitator of sustainability-related activity on campus. The successful candidate will provide broad institutional leadership in the college’s efforts to infuse sustainability principles into all curricular and operational aspects of the college. The central focus of the position is on engaging with students, faculty, and staff to promote sustainability across campus and to facilitate worthy initiatives. The Sustainability Coordinator will work collaboratively with a diverse array of units of the college as Concordia moves towards achieving its Vision for Sustainability.

The University of Mississippi seeks a full-time Energy Management Coordinator, a first-time position to be filled on the Oxford, MS campus.
“This is a professional position in which the incumbent is responsible for the conservation and management of energy resources used by the university. The incumbent manages energy conservation efforts, provides conservation education and training to the university community, manages utility contracts, and serves as a resource to administration as it relates to energy conservation and management while exercising independent judgment and a high degree of discretionary authority.”
Though housed in the Physical Plant Department, this person will work closely with the Office of Sustainability in implementing energy conservation projects and programs on campus. We’re looking for someone who can think outside the boiler!

The Recycling Coordinator is responsible for recycling on the Endicott Campus. He/she promotes awareness of waste reduction and environmental issues within the student body, staff and faculty, local community. The coordinator will work with Sustainable Endicott, a college-wide sustainability effort to:
1) Ensure that collection of recycling is timely and efficient
2) Identify and implement waste recycling reduction opportunities and track progress.
3) Communicate recycling information to the college community and promote efforts where appropriate.
Successful candidates should have a Bachelor Degree and a demonstrated interest in environmental issues and sustainability as well as the ability to engage and motive students.
