BME 143 Biological Systems Analysis and Modeling, Fall 2013 – Fall 2021

Mathematical and computational methods for bottom up through top down analysis of biological systems at molecular and cell levels. A spectrum of approaches will be covered including regression, logic, statistics, kinetics, dynamical systems, pharmacodynamics, and agent-based modeling. Coordinating biological questions with appropriate mathematical modeling approaches will be emphasized through lecture, problem sets, and model implementation.
