Navy Scholarship Program


The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), with America’s Navy,  is a scholarship program designed to provide financial incentives for students in designated health care professions to complete degree/certification requirements and obtain a commission in the Medical Corps (MC), Dental Corps (DC), or medical service corps (MSC).
The benefits of the program include 100% tuition covered, a monthly allowance of $2,466 for living expenses for up to four years, a sign on bonus of $20,000, and full reimbursement for required supplies and textbooks.
Qualifications include: be a U.S. citizen, be between the ages of 18-42, be accepted for admission to, or enrolled in an accredited institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico and in a course of study for a designated health profession, a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (3.2 on a 4.0 scale for Medical health professions), must maintain status as a full-time student, and be in good physical condition and pass a full medical examination.
Active Duty payback is one year for each year in the program with a three year minimum. If sign on bonus is accepted, there is a four year minimum.
