It is with great excitement that the Department of Public Health and Community Service, in partnership with Tisch College,
announces nine (9) Tisch Summer Fellowship (TSF) opportunities.
The Tisch Summers Fellows Program (TSF) provides students at Tufts University School Dental Medicine (TUSDM) opportunities gain a better understanding of health from a community perspective. The conditions in which people live are important determinates of health. Under the guidance of the Department of Public Health, students as Tisch Summer Fellows will interact with community members and community leaders to expand, enhance, and improve their understanding of how life conditions, community circumstance as well as programs and policies impact oral health at the individual and community level.
Selected students will receive a $1500 stipend.
Applications are due no later than March 6.
The three Program Areas for 2022:
Service with a Smile (veterans)
Bridging Healthy Smiles (people living with HIV/AIDS and/or substance use)
Smiles for Life (vulnerable adults over the age of 50)
