Congratulations to Dr. January!

Dr. Keith January, D22, was among the Inaugural Dr. Jeanne Craig Sinkford Student Leadership Awardees, recently announced in the ADEA Bulletin of Dental Education. Keith was born and raised in rural Mississippi, and received both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Mississippi, attending Jackson State and Mississippi College. During his time at TUSDM, Keith was a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program and remained as one of the top 20 academically ranked students in his class. Keith served as Treasurer for Tufts Student National Dental (SNDA) Association, and as a leader of many community service activities, including “Spread the Love” and “Tufts Impressions Day Program”. Dr. January is also co-founder of WeBelieve, a scholarship program for male dental school applicants who have been historically underrepresented in the profession. Dr. January currently practices dentistry for CommuniHealth Services in Bastrop, Louisiana, which is not far from his hometown.
