Austism Smiles: Oral Health Education for Special Needs Population

Members from the Autism Smiles E-Board – Bijal Amin (D23), Catherine Rayburn (D23), and Kaylin Thies (D25) traveled to Quincy High School with our faculty advisor, Dr. Martha Forero, to educate and promote oral health to parents with special needs children. We were invited by the QPAC- Quincy Parent Advisory Council to Special Education to help spread awareness on oral health education and our program, Autism Smiles Sessions. Autism Smiles enjoyed meeting the little ones and their parents to answer any questions they may have and handed out goody bags with toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss!
