HSDA: “Dia De Los Muertos,” Day of the Dead Ofrenda
The Tufts Chapter of the Hispanic Student Dental Association is excited to be announcing the first physical commemoration at TUSDM of “Dia de los Muertos.”
Dia de los Muertos has evolved in Mexico, Central America (“Dia de los Difuntos”/All Souls Day), as well as in other parts of North America such as the New Orlean’s French Influenced celebration of All Saint’s Day.
Traditionally, it is celebrated November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember our friends, family, and pets that have left us in physical form. We hope you find comfort and joy in this exciting commemoration and invite you to honor your own loved ones by writing their name on the butterflies on the 7th floor.
