Tisch College is excited to share its spring speakers and events lineup.  

Join Tisch College this semester for engaging conversations and thought-provoking lectures with leaders like big data expert and co-host of PBS’ NOVA Wonders Dr. Talithia Williams, “Terrible, Thanks For Asking” podcast host and author Nora McInerny, renowned rapper and artist-in-residence Dee-1 for a special Russell Series Lecture on Spiritual Life, former U.S. Ambassador Suzi LeVine, Boston Globe Magazine editor-at-large Neil Swidey, A91, expert negotiators Ghaith al-Omari and Dennis Ross and many more on topics ranging from mental health and resilience, data and health disparities, the power of failure, international climate law, pathways to peace in the Middle East, and more.

All will be recorded and housed on our YouTube Channel unless a speaker contract prevents us from doing so. 

Upcoming Events & Links

• In case you missed it, Tufts University is part of a collaboration involving 9 Massachusetts universities that will offer a free series on “Dialogue & Action in an Age of Divides.” The first event will focus on Hate and Free Speech will take place this Monday, January 29 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. ET and it will be virtual. Learn more about the series and register for the first event.
• The 2024 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration will be on Wednesday, January 31 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Breed Memorial Hall and will feature remarks by Boston-native Christian Walkes, student performances, dinner and community conversation. Sign up now to guarantee your seat.
• We are excited to sponsor a special event next week with Tufts Hillel on Thursday, February 1 called “Prospects for Peace: Past, Present and Future with Ghaith al-Omari and Dennis Ross” to explore what peace between Israelis and Palestinians could look like, and what needs to happen to reach that point with renowned expert negotiators. Find more information and register to attend.
