It is that time of the year! Whether you are an avid runner or one who enjoys strolls along the river for a study break, Run DMD cordially invites you to our Annual 5k run/walk along the Charles River Esplanade on
September 7th at 7 PM
Run DMD 5K is active for registration! Sign up for our Early Bird Special! For the next 50 participants, the registration will only be $25!!
Come Join Us for the sunset run with glow in the dark sticks and LED sunglasses!
WHY WE RUN:
As future healthcare providers, it is essential for us to prioritize our own well-being along with that of our patients. By participating in this event, we aim to foster a sense of community within our school and involved faculty, dentists, and other classes. We greatly appreciate your support in making this yearly endeavor even better. Remember, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger!
Additionally, Run DMD is an initiative to combine dental research and community outreach to promote oral health awareness and enhance athletic safety for individuals in low socioeconomic communities. Through our fundraising run, we aim to empower those in need by providing custom-made mouthguards and other valuable resources. Some fun perks for registering/paying the registration fee includes:
- Help prevent sports injury for young athletes through mouthguards at the Tufts pediatric clinic
