D26: Community Servings Volunteering
Members of the D26 class helped portion out entrees, soups, salads, and snacks, as well as pack many meal bags containing medically tailored meals for people and families across Massachusetts impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other conditions.
Volunteers learned how food is prepared and distributed to those living with severe critical and chronic illnesses and working together efficiently to accomplish a lot within a short amount of time. They enjoyed listening to a great playlist and working with people from various walks of life.
Volunteers: D26s Rana Sultan, Jamyla Palomar, Kirkland Tran, and Janel Romagnoli.
