Tufts University is launching a New Pre-College Program: Mini Dental School: Explorations in Dental Medicine
Tufts’ Mini Dental School: Explorations in Dental Medicine is an immersive, week-long journey designed to introduce high school students to the exciting world of dentistry. Participants will delve into various dental specialties as well as gain important knowledge about human anatomy with a particular emphasis on the oral cavity. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing students to actively engage in procedures such as cavity fillings, plaque removal, and suturing, all under the guidance of experienced professionals.
This Mini Dental School will be led by TUSDM’s Dr. Jason Cummins, DMD, Clinical Instructor, Department of Public Health and Community Service and Anna Lubitz, D26, Program Coordinator.
